Wake up to Banff’s most breathtaking views

There is a moment, as you step outside and take a long, deep breath, when the air sharpens and the landscape comes into focus – a quiet signal that you are somewhere altogether different.

Our place in Banff National Park

Set overlooking the valley, the Juniper Hotel & Bistro stands on ground that has forever drawn people to this region. Long before it became a hotel, this was a place of gathering – where the Ktunaxa, Secwepemc, Métis, Tsuu’tina, Mountain Cree, Blackfoot, and Stoney Nakoda peoples returned seasonally, sharing knowledge, food, and medicine over thousands of years.

The Juniper uses that connection to the land to shape the experience today, offering discerning guests a more grounded stay in Banff: architecture that opens onto the vast panorama and native plant gardens, menus rooted in the region, and a pace that encourages slowing down and settling into the moment rather than moving past it.

Land Acknowledgement

We welcome you to Banff and the Bow Valley. This has long been a place where early peoples came in peace. There is deep and enduring memory of this valley held by Ktunaxa, Secwepemc, Métis, Tsuu’tina, Mountain Cree, Blackfoot, and Stoney Nakoda peoples. We acknowledge both the Treaty of 1877, Treaty Seven, and the Treaty of 1895 between the salmon and buffalo peoples. We are grateful to live here and live together with all our relations.
